Frankincense Oil can be described as having a sweet, fresh, floral, citrus (lime) top note. Drying down to a fresh green citrus, resinous odor. The oil lasts more than 3 days on a smelling strip.

Frankincense trees start producing resin at about eight to 10 years old. Tapping is done two to three times a year with the final taps producing the best tears due to their higher aromatic terpene, sesquiterpene and diterpene content. The resin is collected in Somaliland and is processed and distilled at our manufacturing facility in Turkey. Frankincense has been used in Ayurvedic medicine for hundreds of years and has been shown to offer certain health benefits. In aromatherapy frankincense essential oil is believed to reduce anxiety as well as stimulate the immune and respiratory system.
